Tasting Notes
This wine has a medium ruby color with abundant aromas of tart red cherry, blackberry, black tea, hints of cinnamon and clove, and dried herbs. Smooth on the attack with a load of blackberry, black cherry, red raspberry, medium acid, good mid-palate weight, and balance. Fantastic long berry finish. It’s a sophisticated old vine Zin (95 years) that left the jam sandwich and Everclear at home and can be savored now through 2028 or longer.
