Tasting Notes

Opaque medium purple in the glass with rich aromas of mocha, coffee, green pepper, blackberry, black cherry, baking spice, and vanilla. Smooth and full on the palate with a medium body but still loaded with blackberry and plum flavor, espresso, and fig. The wine has medium acid and moderate tannin, hints of smoke, and a long berry, herby, with just a hint of a smokey finish. You’ll need to decant this to enjoy its full potential, as you might expect from a wine that somehow has captured the night in the glass. So drink this wine now or through 2030.
