Falling Rain was founded in 2006 in the SODO area of Seattle as part of the 85 Atlantic Street Artisan Wineries. I didn’t grow up a wine drinker, so Washington wines and the possibilities they presented were the starting point.
Wine has a compelling history that inspires culturally, intellectually, and culinarily. Nothing compares with seeing your first bins of grapes during harvest and everything that comes afterward on the wine journey.
I earned my degree in Geology and learned what each varietal from different vineyards across the Columbia Valley could do. As a result, I treated every barrel as a distinct identity. And the Falling Rain calling card has been to create powerful, long-aging, intricate hand-blended wines.
Falling Rain Cellars is thrilled to be part of the Rising Wines Collective with an exclusive selection of library wines only available here.
