Travis and Lisa Anderson started Florence Cellars and brought on Jesse Schmidt and Hal Iverson, two Washington winemakers with quite a backstory. Jesse and Hal jumped at the opportunity to support and help the family’s vision for these labels.
Welcome to our first vintage and our mission to celebrate women everywhere.
Jesse and Hal developed their winemaking chops at the famed Quilceda Creek, where they worked for 15 years and 11 years, respectively. Today, they are also a part of the three-person winemaking team at Matthew’s Winery and working on other “secret squirrel” wine projects.
Sourcing family values, winemaking talent, and exceptional Washington fruit, Florence Cellars is excited to introduce our vintages, growing strong roots, and showing what we have to offer.
